The Round Top Antiques Fair was founded in 1968 and is the show that started what has grown into one of the largest antiques events in the United States. The town of Round Top, Texas, has a permanent population of around 90, but swells to several hundred thousand visitors during show weeks. This fair is spread across barns, tents and open fields. The show is between two venues called the Big Red Barn and Continental Tent, covering 30,000 square feet of antiques including early American country pieces, textiles, art, and Continental furniture. The show runs three times a year, in spring, fall, and winter. Parking is free, and food is available on the grounds.
