Markets in the Netherlands this weekend

Last updated: 10 July 2025

This weekend (12-13 July 2025) offers a good selection of flea markets across the Netherlands! Saturday features smaller markets in Amsterdam’s Krugerplein, Enkhuizen’s scenic park setting, and Delft’s famous antique market in the city centre. Creative market highlights include Amsterdam’s Queer Market XXL and Le Marie Marché in Rotterdam.

Sunday has some major markets including Annen’s Brink market (free) and Exloo’s large outdoor venue, both with 100+ stalls. Premium options feature Horst’s massive Carbootsale (€5, 450+ stalls) and Wolvega’s Victoria Park market (€3). Breda and Eindhoven host stadium parking lot markets, while specialised venues include Terheijden’s vintage warehouse open day and Hulst’s antique market. Creative markets include Amsterdam’s Pure Markt in the Amstelpark, Utrecht’s Swan Market, and a castle venue in Baarn. Most markets are free, with specialty venues charging €1-5.

Important: Before you visit a market, especially during cold, rainy, or windy weather, check the organiser’s website (linked under “more info”) to confirm it’s proceeding. Outdoor markets may be cancelled in the last minute due to poor weather conditions.

FAQ

What's a creative market?

A creative market brings together diverse vendors including independent designers, artists, craftspeople, food vendors and trucks, with some markets featuring entertainment like music. These markets focus on handmade, artistic, and unique items rather than mass-produced goods.

I want to go to a market on the list. Where exactly is it?

Each market location is listed and linked to Google Maps.

Is this market I want to go to still happening?

The markets on this list were confirmed when we last updated the page. Markets may be cancelled due to weather or other reasons. While we note cancellations when informed, we don’t actively monitor all markets’ status. Before traveling, check the organiser’s website (linked under “more info” for each listing) to confirm the market is still happening.

Does this list include every market in The Netherlands?

Not all markets in the Netherlands are featured. We curate these lists and usually don’t include very small markets. We reserve the right to exclude any markets for any reason.

How can I add a market to this list?

Send us an email to hey@whereisthemarket.com with the following details about the market: name, exact location, opening hours, number of stalls, type of market (what is being sold at this market?), link to website/social media pages.

There’s a mistake in the list.

Oops, our bad! Please send us an email to hey@whereisthemarket.com with the correct market details.

What do the letters in parentheses (like 'ZH') represent?

The letters in parentheses after a city name (such as ‘ZH’ in ‘Schiedam (ZH)’) indicate the Dutch province where the location is situated.
