The Pyramidenkogel Christmas Market is an Advent market that takes place at the base of the world’s tallest wooden observation tower, the Pyramidenkogel near Keutschach am See and the Wörthersee (lake). The event is also called “Advent above the clouds” (Advent über den Wolken).
Up the tower at 920 m above sea level, you can enjoy a stunning view of Carinthia’s winter landscape. Below, the cozy market features products from the Alps-Adriatic region and traditional crafts. You’ll find high-quality farm goods, organic honey, jams, and dried fruits.
A unique aspect is the local music, with small choirs and instrumental groups performing live. Guests can warm up by the fire, enjoy roasted chestnuts, and sip mulled wine, all helping to set the mood for the upcoming Christmas season.
