The Country Living Fair is a three-day event at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York. This outdoor market has over 200 vendors including antique dealers, artisans, and small boutique brands. All vendors are hand-picked by the Country Living editorial staff, and the range covers antique furniture, vintage clothing, and handmade goods.
Beyond the shopping, the fair includes paid hands-on workshops such as embroidery and flower workshops led by specialists, guest speakers, book signings, and meet-and-greets with designers and other personalities. There is also a live Americana music stage curated in partnership with The Bluegrass Situation, featuring three days of bluegrass and roots music performances. Food trucks are on site, with options covering vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free needs alongside general fair food.
Ticket options include General Admission, Early Bird, and VIP:
- General Admission: access to 200+ vendors starting at 10:00 AM, a full day of main stage speakers and panels, book signings, and multiple performances at The Americana Music Stage.
- Early Bird: On Friday and Saturday, Early Bird ticketholders can enjoy entering the vendor booths before General Admission ticketholders in the fairgrounds. There will not be an early-bird entry on Sunday.
- VIP (Very Important Picker): In addition to all of the benefits of Early Bird, the VIP ticket includes premium event parking, an exclusive souvenir tote bag, special access to our VIP area, and special meet & greets and book signings with Fair presenters. VIP tickets are limited.
If you’re planning your trip to this event, you can also check out the Hudson Valley, a popular region north of New York City only 1-2 hours away by car. The Hudson Valley has both river and mountain landscapes and is a popular destination for weekend getaways. It has around 50 antique dealers, contemporary art galleries, and high-end farm-to-table restaurants. It is also a great location to hike.
