The Provins Medieval Festival is a lively celebration that transports attendees back in time to the medieval period. Held in Provins, a town in the Île-de-France region of France only an hour and a half drive from Paris, the festival aims to recreate the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. There are street performances, parades and processions, jousting tournaments, historical reenactments all in the spirit of the customs, traditions, and arts of that historical era.
The festival includes a bustling medieval market where over 300 vendors dress in period costumes and sell a variety of goods, including handmade crafts, traditional foods, and medieval-inspired items.
