The Tuileries Garden Christmas Market in Paris (Marché de Noël du Jardin des Tuileries or La Magie de Noël aux Tuileries) is the city’s largest Christmas market. Located between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, just steps away from the legendary Champs-Élysées, the market spans over six weeks from mid November to early January.
The Tuileries Garden Christmas Market features 80 wooden chalets, offering a mix of attractions including a carousel, ice skating rink, and gourmet food stalls. Visitors can explore the artisanal market and children can meet Santa Claus. Free entertainment is provided on weekends and daily during school holidays. The market showcases French products, with gourmet offerings from across France, and offers unique handcrafted gift ideas.
There is also a wide range of gourmet restaurants and stalls on the side, so you can try traditional French holiday specialties like sausages, raclette (a melted cheese dish) or freshly made waffles and crepes with a warming glass of vin chaud (mulled wine) in your other hand.
A fusion of a traditional Christmas Market and a holiday carnival, the Tuileries Garden Christmas Market extends nearly half a mile along the north side of the garden, between Place des Pyramides and Place de la Concorde.
