Nestled alongside Regent’s Canal, Camden Market is a vibrant community of creative vendors, street food traders, and independent retailers. Open seven days a week, the market boasts over 1,000 places to shop. Indulge in delicious food and drinks, and enjoy the music in the historic Central London location.
The market started small in 1974 and has grown into one of the most popular tourist destinations of London. It offers a diverse range of products such as clothes and crafts, as well as foods from all over of the world.
Camden Market has four iconic quarter:
- Buck Street: An eco-conscious container market on Camden High Street, just a few doors down from the Underground station. It’s home to a variety of food traders, also offering vegan and vegetarian options, as well as ethical fashion and retailers. You can find independent food traders on the rooftop and the mini market on the ground floor.
- Stables: Home to the famous umbrella alley, Camden Market Stables is a place for local and international brands alike. Many cultures and subcultures are represented overground and underground alike.
- Hawley Wharf: Here you can find a Curzon cinema within the iconic railway arches, a subterranean theme park for kids, covered food courts and independent retailers right on the edge of Regent’s Canal.
- Lock: Camden Lock started as one of London’s first crafts and antiques markets in 1974. It began with a bunch of stalls in an old builders yard. Today, Camden Market Lock is famous for its barges, bars, and lively atmosphere.
