The Theresienwiese Flea Market is a flea market held during the Spring Festival of Munich, Germany. The Spring Festival (Frühlingsfest) on Theresienwiese is an annual folk festival. It is also known as the “little sister of the Oktoberfest” as it’s held at the same location with similar attractions. The festival lasts two weeks and always begins in mid-April.
One Saturday during the festival the Theresienwiese flea market is organised by the Bavarian Red Cross. The traders set up their stalls at dawn and from 7am the first bargain hunters can enter the flea market to look for treasures. The popular flea market is one of the largest in southern Germany.
