The Heidelberg Christmas Market is a Christmas market in Heidelberg, a historic university city in southwestern Germany, located in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It takes place over several streets and squares of the Altstadt (Old Town). The Old Town’s Christmas market features gift stalls along scenic alleys and historic sites. At Karlsplatz, visitors can enjoy ice skating while viewing the famous castle ruins.
