The festive market is set up along Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square in the heart of the city. The historic backdrop of York, with its medieval architecture and charming streets, adds to the festive atmosphere.
The market features 75 alpine chalets, offering a wide range of Christmas gifts, crafts, decorations, and local products. Visitors can explore wooden chalets adorned with twinkling lights, creating a magical setting. The atmospheric shopping experience continues over in world-famous cobbled street the Shambles and its adjoining market.
