The flea market at Place du Jeu de Balle, also known as the Marolles market, takes place every day. The square owes its Dutch name ‘Vossenplein’ to the nearby Vossenstraat, possibly the most authentic street in the Marolles neighborhood.
The square’s French name refers to the ball game played there in the 19th century, before the market was established. Here, you can find all sorts of flea market treasures, including old furniture, vinyl records, books, and jewelry.
While food isn’t served at the market, numerous nearby restaurants and cafés offer plenty of dining options.
