The Mercat Gòtic Barcelona (Gothic Market) is one of Barcelona’s most established traditional antique markets, running for over 40 years. Located in the heart of Barcelona’s historic Gothic Quarter, it features 28 professional dealers specialising in antiques and collectibles. This outdoor market takes place next to the Cathedral of Barcelona, an imposing Gothic cathedral, not to be confused with the Sagrada Familia.
Items available include decorative, religious and ethnic art, coins, antique books and papers, silverware, antique jewellery, watches, toys, dolls, cameras, vintage photographs, bronze pieces, engravings, records, vintage items, and specialised collectibles. The market is known for its dealers’ professionalism and carefully selected pieces.
