The Feldkirch Christmas Market is a Christmas market in the western Austrian state of Vorarlberg, bordering on Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Feldkirch is worth a visit year-round, but it truly comes alive during Advent and the town transforms into a magical “Weihnachtsstadt” (Christmas Town). The air fills with the aroma of punch and gingerbread and the entire city is decorated for the holidays. Numerous attractions and events invite both locals and tourists to explore the festive atmosphere right up until Christmas Eve.
The two locations of the Feldkirch Christmas Market are the Marktgasse and the Neustadt. At the latter the offerings of all stands change weekly. This way, the market transforms into a completely “new stage” of gift ideas every week, and it’s always worth browsing again.
A week before the Christmas market starts there is also a “pre-Christmas market” in Feldkirch called the Blosengelmarkt. Click here to learn more!
