The Ebenau Advent Market (Ebenauer Adventmarkt im Brunnengarten) is one of the oldest Christmas markets in SalzburgerLand open for three weekends of Advent.
It’s a small, but enchanting Christmas market that takes place at the Brunnengarten (fountain garden) near the Pfarrkirche hl. Florian (Parish Church of St. Florian) on the small hill called Kirchberg. The fountain garden, illuminated by the glow of countless Christmas trees, traditionally forms the backdrop for the lovingly decorated huts.
There is a ceremonial opening and a number of programs planned for the Ebenau Advent Market days, including musical bands and choirs, guided tours, living nativity scene with donkey and sheep, a blacksmith crafting lucky charms for the new year, visit from St. Nicholas and Krampus, carol singers and more.
