The Kufstein Christmas Market takes place in Kufstein’s City Park (Stadtpark) from the end of November to 23 December on certain days of the week (see schedule below), with the historic Kufstein fortress providing a dramatic backdrop from above. Kufstein is a town in Tyrol, Austria, located near the German border.
At the main market area in the City Park you’ll find stalls selling Christmas gifts such as handmade items, decorations, and local products. There are stands serving local Tyrolean food like Zillertaler Krapfen and Kiachln, punch and mulled wine in traditional stoneware mugs.
For families, the market has a carousel and small train ride that kids enjoy. Live Christmas music plays throughout Kufstein Christmas Market, and the park is decorated with lights and Christmas decorations.
