Celebrate a “Nadolig Llawen” at Cardiff Christmas Market. The Welsh capital’s annual festive market was established 30 years ago to support local artists and craftspeople. The mission remains the same today, making it one of the best for picking up unique handmade gifts, from soaps and ceramics to jewellery and glassware. A rotating programme means you can meet different makers on different dates, with plenty of tempting seasonal food and drink to lure you back too.
The Cardiff Christmas Market is located in St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street and Hills Street – the main shopping pedestrian areas in Cardiff City Centre. The market features a mix of artisanal food and drinks, handcrafted jewellery, glassware, ceramics, textiles, pet accessories, and Christmas decorations, alongside artwork, clothing, and wellness products – all created by independent makers and local producers. With traders rotating throughout the season, there’s always something new to explore on each visit.
