The Grandola market Portugal is a part of the August Fair in Grandola, the biggest fair on the Alentejo Coast in southwest Portugal. There is a summer market with over 200 stalls offering handicrafts, wooden toys, cork products, wrought iron items, jewellery, basketry, ceramics, interior decorations, and more.
The best of regional cuisine can be found in the restaurants and bars located throughout the grounds of the August Fair and in the area of tasquinhas (small traditional food stalls) and regional products. Situated between the two exhibition pavilions, you’ll find the ‘A Gosto‘ space where local wine producers offer their best wines to taste.
There are also two stages for large shows, two pavilions for exhibitions, and entertainment for young and old. More than 100,000 visitors are expected annually!
During the event, the municipality of Grândola will provide two “Fair Trains” free of charge, which run between the August Fair and several stops in the city. Car parking is available next to the venue.
