At the traditional Aufsteirern Christmas market, the casemates on Schlossberg hill – historic fortified chambers built into the castle hill – transform into a large, festively decorated living room. These ancient stone rooms, once used for military defence, now provide a unique and cozy setting for the Christmas market.
At the Aufsteirern Christmas Market in Graz, visitors can discover a rich variety of local and international products. Food lovers will enjoy regional specialties like Schilcher wine, traditional liqueurs, and homemade pasta, alongside sweet treats such as roasted almonds and artisanal chocolates.
