The Am Hof Easter Market is a festive spring fair in central Vienna held in the two weeks leading up to Easter.Vienna’s Christmas markets are famous worldwide, but the city’s Easter markets are just as magical, a celebration of spring. These Easter markets feature an array of charming stalls offering handcrafted Easter decorations, and seasonal delicacies.
At the Am Hof Easter Market (Ostermarkt am Hof), over 75 exhibitors, a mix of traditional craftsmen and young designers, offer their products, such as Easter eggs, Easter decorations, flower arrangements and more in the heart of Vienna.
At the Easter Market, you’ll find jewellery, leather goods, ceramics, upcycled items, gift ideas (such as gingerbread, macarons, and much more), egg liqueur and lavender products, and more. In the connected Arts and Crafts Market, you’ll find hand-painted Easter eggs, ceramics, gifts made of wood or glass, and more.
There’s also a seating area around the Mariensäule (Marian Column) where you can taste some of the delicious food and drinks offered at the market. You’ll find both sweet and savoury dishes, including traditional and more modern creations as well.
