Pink Journal, also known as Loppemarkeder på Halmtorvet, is a flea market in Copenhagen with a concept aimed at making fashion more sustainable. It was founded during Covid-19 and has since become quite popular amongst fashion lovers.
The idea is to sell and buy second-hand clothes, which inspires people to reinvent their wardrobe. It doesn’t matter if items are out of style, boring or worn out, as they are meant to be upcycled and perhaps used in a different way than before. You can even see already upcycled clothing pieces by fashion designers such as Ellen Vinje Sandvik or visual designers like Dorota Briestenska. Pink Journal is all about craftsmanship, creativity and experimentation.
