The Notre Dame Christmas Market (Marché de Noël de Paris Notre-Dame) offers a magical setting against the backdrop of the historic cathedral. Here, skilled artisans showcase their handcrafted creations, from candles and ceramics to precious stone jewellery. The market only features genuine French artisans and craftspeople selected for their quality goods.
At the Notre Dame Christmas Market in Paris at Square René Viviani / Quai Montebello, you can taste French specialties like saucisson, macarons, gingerbread, foie gras, pretzels, cheeses, homemade pastries, nougat, cured meats from the Southwest, hot chestnuts, and mulled wine.
Santa Claus visits the market daily for photos with visitors. There’s also a free, supervised drawing workshop where you can win a charity plush toy (drawing held Sundays at 4:30pm).
