The Schwaz Advent Market takes place on Maximilianplatz on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Decorated stalls line the historic square, offering handmade gifts, local crafts, and traditional food. Under festive lights and a towering Christmas tree, visitors can explore holiday items while warming up with mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and traditional sausages.
Each Sunday during Advent, a candle is lit on the giant Advent Wreath, featuring performances by local groups and schools. The market also offers entertainment, free carriage rides, and activities for children.
