Pure Markt is a traveling Sunday market based in Amsterdam, rotating across three green, car-free locations in the city: Amstelpark, Amsterdamse Bos, and Park Frankendael. The stalls sell food, handmade goods, vintage finds, and gifts
The vendors of this market are mainly artisanal, and many are producers themselves, where you can ask directly about ingredients, origins, and how things are made. You can find a mix of Dutch and international produce, such as Gouda cheese, oysters, Japanese curry, American pie, organic beer, and more. The vendor selection is based on craftsmanship, regional and seasonal products, creativity, sustainability, and health.
The Amstelpark is one of Pure Markt’s locations and is situated on the Amstel River. It was designed for the Floriade (garden festival) in 1972, which is why a wide variety of flowers, plants, and trees can still be found in this park. In the park, you will also find a city farm, mini-golf, the Amstel train, and a large playground.
