Known as the “Forest of 1,000 Stars,” the Starlit Forest at Schrangen (Sternenwald auf dem Schrangen) is a Christmas market location in Lübeck, Germany with views of St. Mary’s Church. The 100-metre-long Schrangen street is transformed into a magical forest with twinkling lights sparkling among green fir trees and charming star-shaped huts.
There are diverse dining options with plenty of seating and covered areas for visitors to relax and take in the festive vibes. Red stalls sell unique Christmas gifts, including items from charitable organisations, allowing shoppers to give back while finding perfect presents. Children are invited to write their Christmas letters and wish lists for the special Santa mailbox until the second Sunday of Advent. Be sure to include your address so Santa can find you!
