The Hellbrunn Christmas Market in Salzburg is part of the program series called “The Hellbrunn Adventzauber” at Hellbrunn Palace in Salzburg, Austria. The scenic grounds feature around 60 traditional wooden huts selling regional crafts, Alpine specialties, and seasonal treats. The stalls are scattered throughout different areas of the palace: the Schlosshof (palace courtyard), the Orangerie, the Schlossallee (palace promenade), and the Schlossplatz (palace square), creating distinct festive zones each with their own character and offerings.
Visitors can stroll through a fairytale forest of 700 decorated evergreen trees with 10,000 red ornaments and twinkling lights. The impressive Tulip Tree adorned with over 300 red baubles serves as a stunning centrepiece.
The children’s area, Kinderweihnachtswelt (Children’s World of Christmas), offers delightful attractions including an elf village, Christmas train, petting zoo, and weekend activities like a Christmas post office and face-painting station.
Special highlights include the palace facade transforming into an Advent calendar, the annual Krampus appearance, romantic horse-drawn carriage rides, and the unique illuminated water features that create a one-of-a-kind winter walk.
