Every Friday and Saturday, the historic Hof, the largest square in Amersfoort’s inner city comes alive with the Amersfoort weekly market. It’s a traditional Dutch “warenmarkt” (goods market) with vendors offering local and international cheese, fruits and vegetables, bread and pastries, meat, fish and seafood, pet food and more. You’ll also find traditional Dutch market snacks such as stroopwafels and fries.
On Saturday, there’s also a flower and plant market at the same location, but on Friday you can find the plants market at the nearby Lieve Vrouwekerkhof (5 min walk).
