The Molenwijk Market (Molenwijk Markt) is a neighbourhood market in the Molenwijk neighbourhood in Amsterdam-Noord. The Molenwijk Market is a residents’ initiative. The market traders are from the neighbourhood, and the products are mostly local and homemade. Local young people help with setting up and taking down the market.
Visitors can find fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade baby clothes and shoes, and delicious homemade jams, handcrafted jewelry, home textiles, a selection of fragrances. There are also prepared food vendors offering authentic Indian, Turkish, and Syrian snacks and dishes.
