The Dijon Christmas Market is a seasonal event in Dijon, France. The historic Burgundian city transforms into a magical winter wonderland during the holiday season. Spread across the city centre, nearly 50 wooden chalets offer traditional treats like churros, waffles, and mulled wine alongside artisanal gifts and handcrafted goods. Visitors can find local artists’ work, handmade accessories, unique gifts and even learn more about local charities and support to their cause.
The market features spectacular attractions including a towering 40-meter Ferris wheel, a spacious ice skating rink, and multiple carousels. A majestic Christmas tree stands proudly Place de la Libération, while a stunning sound and light show illuminates historic facades each evening from December 20-31. Children can visit Santa’s house, where Father Christmas welcomes young visitors regularly throughout the season.
