The White Truffle Fair in Alba is the largest truffle-themed international fair that takes place in Alba in Italy’s Piedmont region. The event showcases Italy’s finest white truffles from the woods of Langhe, Monferrato, and Roero. The centrepiece is the World Market where visitors can purchase certified truffles directly from local hunters (Trifulau) and traders.
The fair features wine tastings, cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, and hands-on experiences led by truffle experts. Alongside the market, visitors can explore local delicacies, wines, and participate in traditional festivities, making it a comprehensive celebration of the region’s prized Tuber Magnatum Pico and culinary heritage.
Next to the Truffle Market, a selection of the region’s finest food products is on display at specialised markets: local hazelnuts, Porro di Cervere (leeks), mushrooms, Cappone di Morozzo (capon), pralines, nougat, cheeses, cured meats, preserves, desserts, wines, and other local excellences are presented in a carefully curated and welcoming environment, where each product tells a story of tradition, passion, and sustainability.
