Soul2Soul market Amsterdam is a community market founded by father and daughter duo Jimmy and Michelle Bergwijn. During this market, they provide space for various start-ups to share their products with visitors. Beyond the market the event also has fun workshops, soul food, live acts, art, music, activities, DJs, and of course, lots of cool stalls.
The market takes place at “Markt Centraal“, the first new tenant of the Central Market Hall at the Food Center Amsterdam. A gigantic monument hidden in the heart of the city, it has been the arrival point for Amsterdam’s food since 1934, distributing it throughout the city. For the past twenty years, the Market Hall stood empty, but in the coming years, it will be revived as the vibrant centre of a new residential neighbourhood.

How to get there
Markt Centraal is only accessible by a train, the Market Central Express. It departs from the gate of the Food Center Amsterdam at Jan van Galenstraat 6. The train operates between 3:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
