The Maria-Theresien Strasse Christmas Market in Innsbruck, Austria, is a Christmas market on the city’s main shopping street. It is one of the most iconic Christmas market locations in the world with a view of the snow-capped mountain tops of the Nordkette behind the colourful baroque buildings and the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), the famous balcony of Innsbruck.
Distinguished by its radiant glass, light, and crystal decor, the avenue sparkles with modern lighting designs during the Advent season. The market remains open throughout and after Christmas until 6 January.
Featuring over 30 stalls, this market offers a selection of international gifts and treats, illustrating Innsbruck’s respect for global holiday traditions.
