The Lübeck Christmas Market (Lübecker Weihnachtsmarkt) is a holiday market dating back to 1648, located in the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town around the Town Hall (Lübecker Rathaus) on Markt and Breite Straße. This traditional Christmas market offers classic seasonal treats like roasted almonds, deep-fried pastries, mulled wine, and sausages. Visitors can browse numerous stalls selling Christmas arts and crafts, including traditional tree decorations, toys, regional products, and gifts.
Lübeck is known as the “Christmas city of the North”. There are several Christmas markets taking place around the city:
