When autumn arrives in September, Høstmarked med Aarstiderne at BaneGaarden is hosted in Copenhagen.
This whole weekend in September is dedicated to the harvest, food, and good times. Many delicious dishes can be sampled here, making it an excellent opportunity to try Danish cuisine and connect with the locals.
This event is a collaboration between BaneGaarden and Aarstiderne. Aarstiderne is based on the concept of assembling meal boxes containing seasonal organic products, complete with recipes, delivered to your doorstep. The organisation began in 1999 with the mission to re-establish the connection between the work of organic farmers and home cooking. It’s an inspiring initiative to motivate people to eat more organic and nutritious food in their everyday lives.
There are activities suitable for both adults and children, so spending a lovely weekend with the family in a beautiful wooden barn like BaneGaarden sounds just right, in my opinion.
