The Christmas market in Koblenz, Germany takes place every year during advent across 7 locations in the Roman city. There are craft stalls to browse for gifts and food and drink stalls offering festive treats such as roasted almonds, mulled wine and gingerbread.
The Koblenz Christmas Market offers a diverse range of traditional and modern items, from classic Christmas decorations including nutcrackers, glass baubles, and wooden pieces. Visitors can browse textiles including handmade knitwear, Indian scarves, hats, and Christmas tablecloths, alongside leather goods and wool items. For food and drink enthusiasts, the market features regional wines, mulled wine, Stollen, honey, schnapps, liqueurs, hams, cheeses, and crêpes.

- Jesuitenplatz: home to the city’s largest Advent calendar and to the charity house where you can support good causes with your purchase
- Am Plan: Children’s carousel, saxophone entertainment during the weekend
- Josef-Görres-Platz: small Christmas market, particularly popular with families with small children. Advent train, heated seating huts, evening choir performances, inclusive Christmas market on 1st & 2nd Advent weekends selling products made by the disabled
- Münzplatz: the largest market in Koblenz, carousel, popular for glühwein and food such as apple pancakes, Baumstriezel, vegetable dishes, potato chips, Flammlachs
- Willi-Hörter-Platz / Rathaushof: nativity scene, beautifully illuminated “SchaEngelbar” with a large selection of white and red wine mulled wines
- Zentralplatz: 70-year-old wooden Ferris wheel, tourist information office
- Liebfrauenkirche: the smallest market in Koblenz, Feuerzangenbowle (special mulled wine), weekend entertainment with Christmas stories in local dialect, Santa Claus visits on weekends
