The Christkindlmarkt am Neuen Platz is a Christmas market in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, on the eastern shore of Lake Wörthersee in Austria. The main market location is the Neuer Platz, around the city’s emblem the Lindwurm, a winged dragon fountain. There are also smaller markets and events throughout Klagenfurt, which make for a pleasant walk around town.
At the Christmas market in Klagenfurt you’ll find handmade crafts, winter clothes, gifts, and Christmas decorations. You can also enjoy hot drinks and local foods to warm up and refuel.
