The Angers Christmas Market (Marché de Noël de Angers) takes place in the heart of Angers from late November to the end of December across Place du Ralliement, Rue Lenepveu, Place du Pilori, and Place Molière. Regularly ranked among the 10 most beautiful Christmas markets in France, the market features over 100 wooden chalets.
Angers is a city in western France on the Maine river, at the edge of the Loire Valley. It’s renowned for its old town with half-timbered houses and the medieval fortress, the Château d’Angers, which houses the famous Apocalypse Tapestry, the largest medieval tapestry ensemble in the world, now listed by the UNESCO.
