La Batte Sunday Market is the oldest and largest market in Belgium, located in Liège.
This market is perfect for locals to do their grocery shopping and is also popular with tourists. Spanning several kilometers, it offers everything from ingredients for Sunday breakfast to a 1963 copy of Tintin, and even live animals. With its extensive layout, a couple of hours can easily pass by, and there are small stands offering delicious food like hotdogs with sauerkraut and Vietnamese spring rolls.
